Biography

Dr. Ponna Srilatha is a distinguished academician and lecturer in Commerce at Govt. College for Women (A), Guntur. She pursued her M.Com from University College for Women, a constituent college of Osmania University, which is now converted to Telangana Mahila University. She earned her Ph.D. from Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, specializing in Human Resource Management.

Her scholarly contributions include significant research on work-life balance and women entrepreneurs, with her work published in reputable journals. Her dedication to academic excellence and societal contribution has earned her prestigious accolades. In 2019, she received the Youth Red Cross Gold Medal in the field of Energy Conservation from the then Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Biswabhushan Hari Chandan Garu, for her outstanding contributions during the academic year 2018-19. Additionally, she was honored with the Swachha Andhra Mission Award by the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Vijayawada, recognizing her contribution towards the program.

Dr. Srilatha's work embodies a blend of academic rigor and practical relevance, making her a valuable asset to her institution and an inspiration to her students.
