Biography

Dr. P. Anitha is a passionate and enthusiastic teacher of English. She is a dedicated teacher with a profound commitment to advancing English Language Teaching (ELT) and pedagogical methodologies. She completed her Ph.D. from the English and Foreign Language University (EFLU) on the topic, "Using authentic materials to Develop Writing Skills-An Experimental study with Regional Medium Secondary Learners." Prior to her doctoral studies, she attained her M.Phil. Degree on the topic, "Teaching Summary Writing Using Short Stories to Regional Medium Secondary Level Learners in AP: An Experiment" and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching of English (PGDTE) from the English and Foreign Language University (EFLU). She did her MA (English) from Acharya Nagarjuna University Guntur. She also qualified UGCNET and APSET.

With a specialization in ELT and student-centric pedagogy, her research interests encompass the integration of ICT in education and enhancing English language skills through authentic materials. Her scholarly contributions include published papers and presentations at various National and International conferences, seminars, and workshops. Notably, she has explored diverse topics such as transgender literature, women in management, and multimedia tools in teaching writing.

Her relentless pursuit of excellence in the field of ELT is evidenced by her active participation in faculty development programs and continuous engagement with innovative teaching practices. She remains committed to empowering learners and fostering inclusive educational environments through her research, teaching, and academic endeavors.
