In accordance with the University and UGC regulations on the prevention and prohibition of ragging, an Anti-Ragging Committee has been formed at our institution. The primary objective of this committee is to eliminate the practice of ragging, which includes any form of behavior—verbal or physical—that may cause annoyance, hardship, psychological harm, fear, or apprehension to any student.
Ragging encompasses acts like teasing, rudeness, unfair means, undisciplined activities, or any behavior that leads to shame, torment, or embarrassment to a fresher or any student. This behavior is strictly prohibited to ensure the physical and psychological well-being of all students.
In case of emergency, students or parents facing distress due to ragging can seek immediate assistance from the National Anti-Ragging Helpline at 1800-180-5522 (Toll Free), or contact through the website www.antiragging.in, via email at info@amanmovement.org, or by calling 09871170303 or 09818400116 (for emergencies only).
Ragging is completely banned within our college premises, and strict actions will be taken against anyone found guilty of ragging or aiding such activities. It is important to note that ragging is considered a criminal offense.
