Alumni Association

Our alumni are the ambassadors of the good will of our  College.  There are a host of students who have carved out a niche for themselves in the fields of Politics, Education Medicine, Law and Mass Media. Alumni Association of GCW(A), was established in the year 2003. It invariably serves to advance the principles and purposes of Collegiate Education and benefits all graduates. All the Former students of GCW(A) became members upon graduation. The association promotes the growth, development and welfare of college duly promoting the social, professional and economic interest of its members. The association extends financial aid and sponsors various activities related to academia, social affairs that serve to stimulate and maintain interest among members will get rendered its support by the Alumni Members. This feat will foster new acquaintances among graduates and former students. The Members of Alumni Association will be sent Email notices/ Whatsapp/ Face book notices throughout the calendar year so, as to promote alumni association activity.

Purpose

The purpose of an association is to foster a spirit of loyalty and promote the general welfare of organization. Alumni association exist its support the parent organization goals and strengthen the ties between alumni. Alumni students forum facilitates the regular informal meetings between ex-students and present graduates enabling them to share their professional experiences, giving vocational guidance and placement services assistance. It also extends the financial support to upgrade amenities on the campus and to remain supportive to poor and meritoreous students. Alumni association meetings besides remaining being enthralling, will entrust the present students to set their goals.

This seventy year old institution has trained numberless students inculcating in them human and cultural  values.  Thousands of students have left the portals of this College to occupy respectable positions in various walks of life.  Most of our students have set up their own medical practice at Guntur.  Some of our alumni have occupied distinguished positions in the fields of politics, medicine, education, law, administration and mass media bringing glory to their alma mater.
